His or Her Bloody Marys

If maple syrup and candied bacon are your thing, then this ultimate brunch Bloody Mary recipe will certainly hit the spot.

Whilst it’s an extremely simple cocktail to make at home, you can really have fun with the garnish, creating smoky, spicy, yet sweet, undertones. A great addition to such a classic vodka cocktail.

All you need is:

  • 50ml of Ketel One Vodka
  • 90ml of Clamato juice
  • 10ml of fresh lemon juice
  • 8 dashes of jalapeno hot sauce
  • Candied bacon to garnish

Simply rim your glass with maple syrup, smoked salt and pepper. Add all ingredients to your glass, fill with ice and stir. Don’t forget to garnish with candied bacon! Full recipe here.

The Tomatini

A cocktail extremely close to our hearts is the distinctive Tomatini, a unique take on the Bloody Mary vodka cocktail, created for us by one of our bartender family, mixologist, Jimmy Barrett de Cecco.

Served in a coupe glass, this fresh, spicy vodka cocktail oozes elegance and simplicity. Despite its minimal ingredients, the flavour really packs a peppery punch, making it an absolute favourite of Bob Nolet.

All you need is:

  • 50ml of Ketel One Vodka
  • 15ml of white balsamic vinegar
  • 15ml of fresh lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 ripe tomato
  • Cherry tomatoes to garnish

Slice the tomato in to segments and muddle in the base of the shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients. Shake with ice and double strain in to a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a cherry tomato rolled in pepper. Full recipe here.
