Cheers to you!
- "I was born on the island of Rhodes - my parents have been immigrants from Egypt. In Rhodes, there’s one of the largest communities of immigrants and refugees in the country, consisting of people with Asian & African backgrounds. Although been in the island for decades, the majority of them are lacking basic education & professional skills. My main goal is to integrate them into hospitality business, ensuring they have enough skills to become equal members in bar & restaurant teams. I’m creating a Ketel One drink paying hommage to immigrants from India, the largest community in my hometown. I’ve
- combined the crispy vodka from Netherlands with flowers honey from Rhodes and Masala tea soda - the most popular drink between Indians. I’ve collaborated with 3 bars in the island, securing that 40% of my drinks’ sales will be dedicated to fund bartending & hospitality courses via Fogcutters and Bar Academy platform. My goal is to educate 12 people within the next 12 months. My goal is to make them feel valuable members of one world, the hospitality world. #PeopleOfOneWorld"
